FIELD SERVICE GENERATOR TECHNICIANS NEEDED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: EAST GRANBY, CT / SPRINGFIELD, MA / LOWER NY AREA / WATERTOWN, NY AREA / SYRACUSE, NY / ALBANY, NY / BUFFALO, NY
We are looking for generator field technicians for various locations in the northeast. A field technician would perform trouble shooting & routine maintenance on standby & prime power generator installations within a designated area. Applicants should be mechanically inclined, and a background in diesel & gas engines is a plus. Technicians will need a strong background in electricity. The ideal candidates possess previous local service experience working on 8.5kW - 2,500kW generators. Experience with the following generators a plus: Kohler, Generac, Caterpillar, Katolight, Cummins/Onan as well as other common brands. Candidates with limited electrical experience, but with strong engine experience, will be considered. Responsibilities include; engine repairs, engine & electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, generator start-ups, and preventative maintenance. Candidates must possess integrity, a strong sense of urgency and drive for success. Must also be able to pass a criminal background check, drivers license check and drug screen.
