Sales Engineer
Kinsley Power Systems is looking for a sales engineer
to handle our Fairfield and Westchester county markets. We sell, service
and rent generators from 6kW to 2800kW, and have been in business for over
40 years. This position would focus on industrial sales from 6kW to
2800kW, including related equipment. The customer base includes engineers,
electrical contractors, end-users and OEMs, among others. Kinsley Power is
a distributor for Kohler generators, one of the most respected names in
power generation. We're one of the largest power system companies in the
northeast and have a reputation for excellence and integrity. Kinsley
Power is headquartered in East Granby, Connecticut with branches in
Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo, New York. Qualifications for the job include
aggressiveness, the ability to cultivate and develop new markets, strong
communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, relationship
building. Technical sales experience is a must. An electrical engineering
background is preferred.
Generator Service Technicians
We are seeking experienced Generator Service Technicians to support our Buffalo, NY branch operations.
The ideal candidates possess previous local service experience working on 8.5kW - 2,500kW generators. Experience with the following generators a plus: Kohler, Generac, Caterpillar, Katolight, Cummins/Onan as well as other common brands. Candidates with limited electrical experience, but with strong engine experience, will be considered. Responsibilities include; engine repairs, engine & electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, generator start-ups, and preventative maintenance. Candidates must possess integrity, a strong sense of urgency and drive for success. Must also be able to pass a criminal background check, drivers license check and drug screen.
Rental Department Assisant Manager
The
assistant manager will be responsible for the following; All services and procedures of the rental department including all activities relating to the day to day operation of the department, quoting of rental jobs, creating and sending out rental contracts, answering customer calls and providing them information in regards to their rentals, timely invoicing of all rental jobs, coordinate the logistics for the delivery and pick up of rental equipment, monitor equipment location and maintenance requirements, creating purchase orders, data entry functions, Maintaining accurate service and inventory records, assist the manager in the process of creating reports, and perform various inside sales and marketing functions. Requirements for this position include; detail oriented and organized, proactive, customer service oriented, excellent communication skills, show a willingness to learn, knowledge of MS Word & Excel, knowledge of Great Plains (preferred), ability to prioritize, and occasional nights & weekend work required.
Field Service Technician
We are looking for generator field technicians for
various locations in the northeast. A field technician would perform trouble
shooting & routine maintenance on standby & prime power generator installations
within a designated area. Applicants should be mechanically inclined, and a
background in diesel & gas engines is a plus. Technicians will need a strong
background in electricity. For employees with less experience, we provide
training. A field service technician position includes a company service
vehicle.
