TR II Series (350 to 2000 kW)
TR II-Series generator sets, 350 kW to 2000 kW, can be equipped to meet
the requirements of prime power applications at heavy construction sites,
mining and timbering operations, and industrial plants. With the ability
to be connected in parallel, these generators will meet any output requirements.
The TR II-Series is also ideal for interruptible rate applications at
factories and other facilities that wish to curtail electrical energy
costs while enhancing operating security.
FR II-Series (20 to 300 kW)
KOHLER Fast-Response Series, 20 to 300 kW, is well known for its exceptional
motor starting ability and voltage recovery - ten times faster than many
competitive generators of an equivalent rating. With Fast-Response generators,
even 50% load changes are virtually imperceptible. The ability of Fast-Response
generators to recover within 0.05 seconds actually takes place before
a voltage dip caused by generator impedance reaches full value. It's the
reason Fast-Response gensets have better motor starting ability than competitive
models.
Natural Gas Generators (6 to 275 kW)
Kohler Power Systems offers natural gas generator sets specifically engineered
with the latest in technology to give you the best performance. Choose
from models with power ranging from 20 kW to 275 kW. Kohler gas generator
sets utilize lean burn natural gas technology to help reduce harmful emissions,
lower exhaust temperatures, and improve engine efficiency. All are equipped
with the latest engine/fuel management technology for the lowest possible
emissions levels.

Kohler Controllers
Greater reliability, accuracy and efficiency distinguish the advanced
generator set controller – the Kohler Decision-Maker 340. This state-of-the-art
controller monitors more parameters, provides for additional electrical
and mechanical diagnostics and has programmable functions. All data is
available via a personal computer using menu-driven software. The Decision-Maker
340 can network up to 128 generators and transfer switches.
Automatic
Transfer Switches (30 to 4000 amperes)
Kohler's line of transfer switches ensure reliable power source switching
in any emergency situation. They're part of a complete Kohler Power System
and are available with a full complement of accessories. Kohler transfer
switches provide reliable protection for communication systems, industrial
plants, airports, hospitals and every other facility that requires a constant
source of electricity.
Switchgear
Kohler designs and manufactures switchgear for three major applications:
emergency/standby, energy management and prime power. Kohler switchgear
consists of proven components, integrated and packaged to meet customer
needs. It also serves as a monitoring and switching station for electric
sources as required by the application. In addition, Kohler is the only
manufacturer offering a complete system (generator and switchgear) with
factory testing.
